Introduction

Nviron is a location-based social discovery app designed to help people find and connect with others nearby in a safe, respectful, and genuine environment.

These Community Guidelines exist to make sure every person on Nviron feels safe, respected, and comfortable. They apply to every user, every profile, every message, and every interaction on the platform — without exception.

By using Nviron, you agree to follow these guidelines. Violations may result in warnings, feature restrictions, account suspension, or permanent removal depending on the nature and severity of the behaviour.

1. Be Real

Nviron is built on genuine connections. We require every user to represent themselves honestly.

You must:

  • Use your real name and a real, recent photo of yourself as your profile picture
  • Provide accurate information about yourself during registration
  • Be who you say you are — impersonating another person or creating a fake identity is not allowed

You must NOT:

  • Create fake profiles or accounts
  • Use someone else's photos or identity
  • Misrepresent your age, gender, or any other personal detail
  • Operate multiple accounts
  • Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to interact with other users
  • Provide a false birth year during age verification to bypass the 18+ requirement

2. Be Respectful

Every person on Nviron deserves to be treated with dignity.

You must NOT:

  • Harass, bully, intimidate, or threaten any user
  • Send abusive, degrading, or hateful messages
  • Target someone based on their race, religion, gender, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, caste, or any other personal characteristic
  • Shame, mock, or humiliate other users publicly or privately
  • Use the app to stalk or monitor another person
  • Continue contacting someone who has asked you to stop

If someone makes you uncomfortable, you can block and report them immediately. You do not owe anyone a response.

3. Keep It Appropriate

Nviron is an 18+ platform. That does not mean sexually explicit content is welcome.

You must NOT:

  • Post nudity, sexually explicit images, or pornographic content anywhere on the app
  • Send unsolicited sexual messages or images to other users
  • Use the compliments feature to send sexual, degrading, or offensive messages
  • Share graphic violence, gore, or disturbing content
  • Post content that promotes self-harm, eating disorders, or suicide

Your profile photo must be:

  • A real, clear photo of your face
  • Appropriate for a public setting
  • Free of nudity, hate symbols, weapons, or offensive imagery

4. Respect Privacy

Every user has a right to their personal privacy.

You must NOT:

  • Share another user's personal information (name, location, phone number, photos, etc.) without their consent
  • Screenshot or record conversations and share them with others
  • Attempt to identify or locate another user outside of the app using information shared within it
  • Share or distribute private images of another person without their consent
  • Use any information you learn on Nviron to harass or harm someone outside the app

5. Use Features Responsibly

Every feature on Nviron is designed for positive, respectful interaction.

Likes and Hearts:

  • Use likes and hearts to genuinely appreciate another user's profile
  • Do not use them to spam or manipulate other users
  • Hearts are limited to 3 per day

Anonymous Compliments:

  • Compliments are meant to be kind, encouraging, and uplifting
  • Limited to 3 per day, with a maximum of 1 per person per day
  • All compliments are filtered for inappropriate language before delivery
  • Do NOT use compliments to harass, threaten, intimidate, or send offensive messages under the cover of anonymity
  • Misuse of the anonymous compliments feature is grounds for immediate suspension

Connection Requests:

  • Only send connection requests to users you are genuinely interested in connecting with
  • Do not send repeated requests to users who have not accepted

Private Messaging:

  • Messaging is only available between mutually connected users
  • Do not use messaging to send spam, unsolicited commercial messages, or offensive content
  • You are fully responsible for the content of every message you send

6. No Illegal Activity

Nviron must never be used for any illegal purpose.

You must NOT:

  • Use the app to facilitate, promote, or engage in any illegal activity
  • Solicit, offer, or exchange money, drugs, weapons, or illegal goods or services
  • Engage in or facilitate child sexual abuse or exploitation (CSAE) of any kind
  • Share, solicit, or distribute child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
  • Engage in human trafficking, exploitation, or coercion
  • Use the app to commit fraud or financial scams
  • Attempt to hack, damage, or disrupt the app or its infrastructure

Any account found engaging in illegal activity will be permanently removed and reported to the relevant law enforcement authorities immediately.

7. Child Safety

Nviron has a zero-tolerance policy for any content or behaviour that endangers children.

  • Nviron is strictly for users aged 18 and above
  • Child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) is absolutely prohibited
  • Grooming, sextortion, trafficking, and sexualisation of minors will result in immediate permanent account removal and reporting to authorities
  • If you encounter any content or behaviour that appears to involve or endanger a minor, report it immediately using the in-app reporting tool

8. Location and Ghost Mode

  • Your location is used only to show nearby users and calculate approximate distances
  • Never share your precise home address or regular locations with other users
  • You must not use location spoofing tools to falsify your location on Nviron
  • Use Ghost Mode (Settings → Ghost Mode) at any time if you want to browse the app without appearing in other users' nearby feeds

9. Staying Safe — Tips for You

Your safety matters to us. Here are some things we recommend:

  • Never share sensitive personal information such as your home address, workplace, financial details, or passwords with anyone you meet on Nviron
  • Take your time getting to know someone before agreeing to meet in person
  • If you do decide to meet someone, always choose a public place and let a trusted person know where you are going
  • Trust your instincts — if something feels wrong, it probably is
  • Block and report anyone who makes you feel unsafe or uncomfortable
  • Nviron does not conduct background checks on users. You are responsible for your own safety and judgement

10. How to Report

If you encounter any behaviour or content that violates these guidelines, report it immediately.

You can report directly within the app:

  • Report a profile — Tap the user's profile and click three dots → Report
  • Report a message — Open chat click three dots  → Report
  • Report a compliment — Tap the compliment → Report

All reports are reviewed and appropriate action will be taken. Reports are confidential — the person you report will not be notified that you reported them.

11. Blocking

You may block any user at any time from their profile. When you block someone:

  • They can no longer see your profile
  • They will not appear in your nearby feed
  • All messaging between you is disabled
  • Any existing connection is removed
  • Neither user can interact with the other in any way

You can manage your blocked users at any time from Settings → Blocked Users.

12. Enforcement

We take violations of these guidelines seriously. Depending on the nature and severity of the behaviour, we may take the following actions:

  • Issue a warning
  • Restrict access to specific features
  • Temporarily suspend the account
  • Permanently remove the account
  • Report the user to law enforcement where required by law

We reserve the right to take action on any account at our sole discretion to protect the safety and experience of our community.

Repeated or severe violations will result in permanent removal with no possibility of appeal.

13. Reporting Misuse of the Report Feature

The reporting system exists to keep the community safe. Misusing it — such as filing false or repeated bad-faith reports against other users — is itself a violation of these guidelines and may result in action being taken against your own account.

14. Updates to These Guidelines

We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time to reflect changes in the app, our features, or applicable laws.

Significant updates will be communicated within the app.

The "Last Updated" date at the top of this document reflects the most recent version.

Continued use of Nviron after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised guidelines.
